Welcome to the Somerset Public Schools (SPS) and Somerset Berkley Regional School (SBRSD). SPS consists of four schools and matriculates roughly 1,800 students in grades PK-8. SBRSD enrolls approximately 1,000 students in grades 9-12+. Our schools are:
Chace Street School (K-5)
North Elementary School (PK-5)
South Elementary School (K-5)
Somerset Middle School (6-8)
Somerset Berkley Regional High School (9-12, 12+)
The mission of the Somerset and Somerset Berkley Regional School Districts is to inspire all students to pursue excellence, achieve their fullest potential, and cherish learning as they prepare to become productive and responsible citizens.
Our Vision of the Graduate identifies skills and attributes that each individual RAIDER will possess upon graduation from Somerset Berkley Regional High School. These competencies, including the core body of knowledge that each student is expected to acquire, were created through input from multiple stakeholders in 2020 and 2021, including students, teachers, parents, administrators, and community members. It is through the collective effort of all schools and programs to align practices and decision-making toward the achievement of this Vision.
In order to achieve this vision, we focus on creating a unified learning organization using the principles of a professional learning community; ensuring student success through the development of multi-tiered supports and data-driven interventions; and through the development and application of college and career skills and STEM while incorporating the Arts and developing the whole child.
Through this website and the data dashboard, students, staff, families, and the community can access information about the schools and the school district.
